Design

Highly sophisticated software design package such as MBS & STAAD Pro used for designing which reduces design time significantly and eliminates error. STAAD Pro be utilized for analyzing practically for the Pre-Engineered Buildings, implements the Bending Moment, Axial Forces, Shear Forces, Torsion, Beam Stresses. The typical codes and practice followed for the entire manufacturing system as follows.

Main Design Building Codes :-
  • Frame members are designed in accordance with 1989(9") edition of the American Institute of Steel Construction(AISC): " Manual of Steel Construction, allowable Stress Design".
  • Cold formed members are designed in accordance with the 1996 edition of the American Iron and Steel Institute(AISI): "Cold Formed Steel design manual".
  • All welding are done in accordance with the 2000 edition of the American Welding Society(AWS): "Structural welding code - steel, All welders are qualified for the type of welds performed".
  • Manufacturing dimensional tolerances are in accordance with the requirements of the 2006 edition of the Metal Building Manufacturer Association(MBMA) of the USA. "Low rise building systems manual".
  • Wind zone velocity are considered and applied as per latest edition IS875-1987 code of practice for design loads.
  • Seismic loads are considered and applied as per seismic zone in the latest edition of IS 1893-1984 (Revised in 2002). Seismic load of application is considered as per the latest edition of MBMA - 1986.
  • Loads on the buildings are applied in accordance with the latest edition of International Building Codes. International Code Council. Inc (IBC) 4051, West Flossmoor Road, Club Hill, IL 60478-5795, USA.
  • Loads on the building are applied in accordance with the low rise building system manual of Metal Building Manufactures Association INC. (MBMA), 1300 Summer Ave, Cleveland Ohio 44115, USA, 1986 edition, 1990 supplement and the latest edition
  • Hot rolled sections and built-up sections are designed as per the ninth edition (1989) of Manual of Steel Construction - Allowable Stress Design of American Institute of Steel Construction Inc (AISC) 1 East Wacker Drive, Suite 31000, Chicago, IIIinois- 60601-2001, USA
  • Wherever relevant codes are not available, the buildings are designed and constructed as per the latest edition of IS 800
